breeding boas

bigdee Feb 13, 2005 07:44 AM

hello

I have been trying to breed my boas this season and looks like no luck. I had issues with heating which I now have fixed, I have a new plastic cage and cut off a small area of the room to heat instead of the entire room. I havent been noticing any breeding so I took the hot spot heat away. What should I do? should I keep the hot spot off and achieve a ambient temp of a certain degree for a certain time period? The hot spot has been taking away over a week now. Do I have to bring the heat back up and cool them down slowly to a certain temp? what do you all suggest I do from here or is it too late? My setup is a 4x2x1 jungle habitats cage with hot end heated with heat tape connected to one of those $25-$30 on/off thermostats, I have a lamp in the room on a timer for light. Thank you very much for your help
