But I need help figuring out EVERYTHING that I need. I am trying to calculate the costs, but I dont really know all of the different supplys that I need. I know that I need:
-A bearded dragon
-A tank, 100 gal? or do I need a bigger one?
-I am planning to get a mercury vapor bulb, but if I get one of those do I still need a spot lamp?
-water bowls, ect
-Cage furniture
-Also, do beardies need their nails cut?

I appreciate any help! thank you.

Sounds pretty good, depending on the size of the dragon you're getting you may want to start off with a 20 gallon long. They will quickly outgrow this though, but too large a cage is hard to eat and may cause the dragon to be very nervous if they are small.I don't know much about the mercury vapor bulbs, I use a 100 watt basking bulb that puts out UVA and UVB. Reptisun 5.0 bulbs are good as well. These guys are pretty tough and they are a lot of fun to watch grow up so have fun and enjoy.Good luck!

yes, they do need their nails trimmed...also, you should invest in a temperature gun or digital thermometer for more accurate temp readings...do plenty of research on substrate...read, read, read...take it from me...I thought I read plenty and was completely prepared...I spent alot of money on wasted products...and more on the correct ones...Good Luck...
