The worst possible thing to happen to a home in the Nevada desert, happened to my home on Saturday night, the A/C went out. A service tech can't get to me until this morning, so we've been without it all weekend. When the sun came up yesterday morning, the temp slowly crept from 94 passed 100. We've got 2 cats, 5 snakes and a beautiful bearded dragon that we love very much. He (beardie) was going crazy in his enclosure and after a while, he couldn't move at all and just waited to be sprayed with water, which he drank up like he never saw water before. We took him out with us to roam the house freely, he took a little swim in the tub. By evening time last night, we packed up Draven (beardie) and our cats and spent the night at my mother-in-law's. The snakes are all there with every fan we own on them and all heat pads and lamps unplugged. Our dragon is spending the night in a box, but at least he's cool. How much stress do you think this has put on him?? Is there anything I can do to make him more comfortable when we get back home? Any suggestions on how to keep any of the reptiles more comfortable would be GREATLY appreciated, I love these guys and don't wanna lose any of them. Feel free to email your responce to PhunkyJess2k3@aol.com.
Thanks in advance.
