i WAS over at lowes looking for some Slate rocks from my collard or something else I can use to make his habitat better for him but I did not find what I was looking for not slate just bricks I was thinking about using a clay pot for something but I still dont know and I dont have any rocks that I could use in my backyard or something so where do you guys get your slate and everything else .

I saw Eve had a nice rock that her collard was on that looked good LEMME KNOW GUYS

I stole mine from my mother's garden . . . but you may find some at a petshop, too. I've seen slate rocks in the reptile supplies section of a couple of petshops near me.

Do you have any type of water near you? Like creeks or lakes? Thats where I got all of mine from.
Or you could even go into some woods and get some.
Just make sure you clean them good first.
Mines not flat like slate,but I've made 2 different basking spots/hiding areas from them. Just gotta make sure its sturdy,cause I've seen my little guy digging around them..Don't want a squashed lizard..
