smalizards Feb 13, 2005 02:35 PM

I am just wondering if it is normal for my juvy Heamanns to nap or is something wrong. He is getting alot of exercise and naps almost everyday.
Thanks

My experience with torts (russians and leopards) and box turtles is that napping is their hobby. Wake up, bask, eat, nap, bask, eat, nap, nap, nap. And often, while basking, they take a nap.

If they are eating, moving around between naps, defecating and not wheezing, oozing mucus or other goo, then I assume they are healthy.
