>>I have a female that I breed for the first time about three weeks ago. She has gained 7grams but hasn't dropped her eggs yet. Also, the eggs aren't visible. I'm wondering if she only has one egg or it's just a longer gravid period because it's her first clutch?
Could be a longer period, could be egg bound.
Make sure you have humid hides with diggable substrates. A female leopard gecko will hold onto the eggs until she finds a suitable place to lay them, which can lead to trouble.
You might also try adding another humid hide or two, in case she doesn't like the options she currently has (some are just picky like that)
