hey everyone just wanted to drop a post here i live in NYC and am a snake person myself but i walked into a local petstore mainly cats dogs and birds and found a beat up looking uro in a back tank it looked like [bleep] and i had no idea what it was but i knew it needed some major TLC. when i asked the guy working about it he said it was shipped by mistake and its just been sitting their for weeks i got it home and looked all over the internet to find out what it was now i know its a mali im not sure about the sex still and now its well feed and has great lighting im looking to get him or her a mate or atleast a new friend.

My question is can i get a diff type of uro and keep them together or should i just stick to another Mali?

there is a link with a similar question. i know some people are against mixing for fear of hybrid babies in a trade that still has lots of wild caughts. however i thought this post was helpful. congrats on your new mali. they are the greatest uros, ha ha

Get him acclimated first! Get his health where it should be, eating regularly, and gaining weight. Then look into another uro for him. Even then, when the new uro arrives, acclimate that one by itself before introducing the two in an unfamiliar enviroment.
