Well, look in the room his enclosure was housed in, then check areas w/ constant heat (heat pads, heaters, vents, etc..... Look EVERYWHERE, especially with places cramed w/ things, but be careful so you don't crush him while looking around.

I lost one of my cresteds when I was cleaning his tank. I put him on my shoulder and he jumped off when I wasn't paying attention. He was gone about 7 days. I tore my whole house apart looking for him. One night, by chance, I walked into my room and stepped on him! He was so thin and as I placed him in a quarentine tank he dropped his tail from stress. He is doing great now.

My advice is to look everywhere, he is bound to be under something and will be coming out at night. Leave some cgd or baby food in random places so he can at least get some food while he missing. Good luck!

yea, if he wasnt just well hidden in the tank, i would say first of all, keep all doors shut and put any cats or dogs away. once night gets here, turn out all the lights, and keep checking the different rooms. most likely, you'll find your gecko close to the enclosure it escaped from. good luck

This one was MIA (due to me leaving the cage open) for 6 weeks. Had given up looking as I figured she had gotten outside (looked in the bushes for weeks also). Then one day, there she was, not 2 feet from her cage, none the worse for wear. Back in the cage and have eggs in the incubator. Keep looking, they are VERY hardy gex, and there is more food and water in your home than you think. Every so often you get lucky, keep up the faith, chances are you will find it when you least expect it...

Good luck...

what kind of substrate is in the bottom of your cage. My cresties burrow down and disappear from site. I use cypress mulch.
