My corn has mites....

cee4 Feb 13, 2005 09:20 PM

I have no idea how she got them but last night she was soaking which is unusual. I checked the water and found some little tiny bugs...Im pretty sure they are mites, they do not look like the mites I had on my Ball python years ago though, they are much smaller...Could she have gotten them from Cypress Mulch? Ive had her for at least a year and none of my other snakes have any mites I just checked but now Im afraid these might spread to all.....What can I use thats safe? I used Reptile Relief with my bp but he was much bigger and older at the time..Thanks

I have always used Black Knight in the past, but I haven't had them in so long, I am not certain what elese is available now.

Sorry this isn't more helpful...

Good luck getting rid of them!

see any mites on her but she has never soaked in the last year that I have had her and she was soaking again today. And there are little bugs in the water again..I looked back in the old forums and found a big thread on using Sevin dust so I think this is what I will use...Thanks
