Bee Pollen>>>Where do we find it???

cv768 Feb 14, 2005 11:47 AM

I've heard that uros love bee pollen (our uros love hibiscus and dandilion flowers so I'm sure they'd love bee pollen) but where do I find the stuff?

Health food stores sell it but is this the right thing? If it's in capsules can we just crack open the capsules and sprinkle it on their food?

Or if it;s in pill form can we just cruch up the pills and sprinkle it on?

Sorry, probably a dumb question but I don't want to buy the wrong stuff.

Thanks.

You can get jars of it in granule form from health stores. You may have to shop around. They love it and it's good for them too.

I buy the bee pollen granules form form this website:
http://www.stakich.com

I add it to the dry mix of food or you can sprinkle it over the veggies.

You can also just put it in a jar lid in the cage.

As in the other replies, you want the granules, not pills or capsules. They should love it.
