leaf cham missing....laying??

lele Jul 07, 2003 10:39 AM

One of my leaf chams has disappeared! She hides well but I eventually find her (big viv). then I noticed a hole in the soil of one of the plants. I don't see her at all! How deep will they go and how long can I expect her to be there? I worry the soil will collapse in on her but don't want to disturb her either. Does anyone know the incubation time of R. brevi
eggs?

thanks

lele

Lele,

They will sometimes dig down and just sit there and relax out of view. I would not worry unless it has been a long while since seeing her. Also our eggs tend to hatch at about 60 days depending on the temperatures they are incubated at. Our last group hatched at 66 days at room temperature.
