some of my monitors

nydon Feb 14, 2005 12:51 PM

it is 4 a.m. here and i am tired but i finally figured out how to use my sons laptop to download some my pictures i took today as some of you have been asking to see some of my animals. I also figured out how to get some of my pictures off of cd's that i saved them to so i can post more soon. i also have a lot more pictures when my computer comes back if they did not get fried. In addition to my monitors i also have pictures of some of the monitors (including komodos) that i took while filming for our tv shows as well as monitors that were mine that now reside in zoos around the country that i work with. this one is obviously one of my blue tails

Hi,
Are you in Bali? I have a couple melinus but they spend most of their time hidden under the substrate.

i do not live in indonesia although i visit there quite often. My wild caught adults hid a lot at first but as i spend a lot of time interacting with my monitors, they now have acclimated and spend hours basking, hunting and searching the cage as well as soaking in the water bowl. My cbb hardly ever hide at all. They spend most of their time up on one of the corkbark tiers.
