I'm not aware of anyone claiming to have produced amel sinaloans by any method other than outcrossing to amels of other ssp. But it could happen. Ask the breeder, and maybe someone here will post if they've heard of an amel originating from pure stock. Remember sinaloans and nelsoni are SO close they once were considered the same animal, and there are stories suggesting they both might link back to some of the same wild-caught specimens. So it's one of the only--maybe THE only-- case where the distinction between ssp is virtually lost.

Yes that is true they were considered the same animal. I imagine it has albino nelson in it.
