so now that they're all over a year old...

im wondering why my 3 phantasticus seem to only be halfway to adult size. they've all been very healthy from day one, but i read in neil's old article in reptiles magazine that they can even reach full adult size in about 12 months. they've always had UV light and have never had problems feeding. they're still perfectly healthy, but could i be doing something wrong, preventing them from growing more? the 3 of them are house together in a 15 gal, heavily planted. ideas?

interesting question...I don't think I have a difinitive answer for you though. I can only share my experience. My oldest cb sikorae are almost 6 months old, and they are not even half the size of the adults. They eat great and shed regularly. And are a blast to watch feed now.

If the phants were mine I wouldn't worry too much about their growth since everything else seems good.

Maybe a bigger tank might spur growth, or more frequent feedings?
