Turtle growth

vb3 Feb 14, 2005 06:01 PM

Does anyone in here keep records of their turtle's growth and development? I've been measuring mine since last October, taking measurements once a week of the following: carapace length/width, plastron length/width, shell height and weight. I only recently began measuring pre-anal tail length on my alligator snapper. If anyone else does this, please get in touch with me - I'd be interested to see how my turtle's growth compares with others. Thanks!

Snapdragon - Common snapping turtle (458 g)

Matarin & Wolf- Common musk turtles (149/133 g, respectively)
Clik & Clak - Red-eared sliders (165/75 g, respectively)
