What's a night snake? I've only heard of Mexican night snakes (Elaphe flavirufa) and night adders (Causus sp.).

The night snake i have is a wc west texas lizard specialist. It's scientific name is Hypsiglena Jani, but mine is the texas night snake sub-sp. They have slightly toxic saliva and are also rear-fanged. They are VERY small only growing to about 12" long. Mine is only 9" and won't except frogs, crix (hey its worth a try!), or liz rubbed crix so i'm trying lizards. Thanks for the qusetion!

Oh, ok. Now that you mention it, I think I have heard of an American species called a night snake. Thanks!

Pet stores usually carry feeder Anoles for 2-3 bucks each...You might want to call your local stores and ask. I don't know of any online sources but I'm sure they're out there.

anoles are always there in bulk.
