from what I have seen they will do that for two reason. One they have RI, in which case I would take the animal to the vet and get an oral swab. #2 I have a couple that will do that when going into shed, they have a loose shed around the nostrils thats sorta popping in the breeze as the breath. Now mine that do that wont do it for the entire time they are in shed only certain periods normally when its harder to tell they are in shed. They dont do it when totally "blue" Id keep a close eye on the animal and if you dont notice it going into shed in the next couple days I would take it to the vet. If it is some sorta RI ods are its bacteria that will show up in the culture when the oral swab is done. Also if there is anything at all that concerns you aside from the popping I would just take it in. Anyway hope that helps Jason
