sorry but i could not figure out how to respond directly to your question on the photo gallery so i will answer your question here. I uploaded some photos to the photo gallery to post on the forum but ran out of gas last night before i could get to all of them.

Yes it is egg. It is quail egg. I do not remove the yolk and i "soft boil" them. My monitors love them as do my BTS's. I even feed them to my yellow bellies and T. gracilis. I buy them by the case but do not know how available they are in the u.s. I am sure some co-ops may have them or if you have the space you can breed your own not only for the eggs but to feed the chicks as well. I am contemplating breeding them myself as i think the chicks would do well with my tree monitors. I could even mount an artificial nest high in my prasinus cage and at feeding time i could drop a few chicks in the nest. If nothing else it would make for some cool pics.hehe

ok thanks, have you ever tried chicken eggs, or is this a nono.
