Can MBD be passed from prey item to predator? From my understanding MBD is due to a calcium deficiency during development. So I would guess no, it's just not a good source of calcium, but not contageous. Can anybody tell me if I'm right or wrong?

There are MANY causes of MBD, most of the cases are the result of a lack of calcium combined with improper nutrition that compounds the problem (lack of UVB, too much P, etc).

No

Calcium deficiencies are not limited to growth and maturation. Since Ca is also necessary for muscle movement et al, there needs to be a continual source of Ca throughout the lifetime.
