Too late to try and breed?

bigdnutz Feb 15, 2005 09:41 AM

I just purchased a large female boa. She is about 8 feet long and girthy. Would it be too late to try and breed her? I figured I would put a male with her and see what happens.

Shouldn't you quarantine your new boa before placing your male with her?

She needs a good month or two quarentine. It is best for your boas, both of them. I hold all my animals 2 months before putting together except in one case, where i knew the breeder really well, then i gave him a month.
