Baby boa feeding issue, let me know what I can do please.

kjanda Feb 15, 2005 02:35 PM

I recently purchased a 100% het albino male red tail. When I received him, he was blue and went into a shed within 2-3 days. He had a very hard time shedding!! After many soakings and helping him, I got the rest of the old skin off of him. He didn't want to eat. That was 6 weeks ago and he still does not want to eat. I feed rat pinks (live and fresh as I breed my own) and he simply will not eat. I've tried every 4-5 days to no avail. I'm getting worried that I may loose him. Any suggestions? Please advise.

Thanks

Mike

try feeding him hopper mice. i have a few babies that simply will not eat rat pinks or pups. they show zero interest but throw in a hopper mouse and they hit in seconds just a thought
