Breeding Size Question??

reptileking90 Feb 15, 2005 04:45 PM

I have a female that has produced 5 good eggs out of 5 eggs. She is 35 grams and around 7 inches long and around 1 3/4 years old. And just want another opinion if she is big enough to produce eggs and not screw up her health or should i bring her out of breeding and wait till she gets bigger. Thanks

Derek

35 is just fine, some breeders even breed at 30, but that's as low as you can go without encouraging crashes or other problems. A 35 gram female will be happy to lay eggs for the good part of a year if taken care of properlly and suplimented.
