Since Mother Nature is heating things up.................Sulphur Brooksi male.

Brandon Osborne Feb 15, 2005 04:52 PM

I thought I would check on snakes today. Temps are near 70 here so I took this guy out for a quick pic. This is the Sulphur male. I really hope these produce this year. Last year they were just at 20 months old and they were not having anything to do with each other.

I took these just inside my garage where they are brumating. The door was open for lighting. They actually turned out pretty good considering it was quick and to the point. Feeding and cleaning days are soon ahead of us.

I really like the intense colors they have. Those have got to be some of the brightest sulphur brooksi I have ever seen.
You guys are still a little chilly at 70 degrees. LOL It was 88 yesterday and 85 today here in South Texas. All my breeders are out of the cooler and in their shelves with the heat off until the weekend. I already experienced cleaning yesterday. This weekend I will be feeding along with cleaning and maybe some pairing.

My female striped hypo brooksi just shed last week during brumation. This always alarms me cause I don't know if it is the pre breeding shed or not. I don't want to mis my opportunity with this female. I may try a male with ther this weekend after feeding.

Again, Nice Brooksi Brandon. I hope they produce for you too.

Mr. Osborne,
I don't know if you know me, but I truly enjoy working with brooksi kings. I am trying to build the best colony possible and would be very interested in a pair of offspring from your sulphur brooksi. Do you take reservations for hatchlings or require a deposit for reservations? Would you consider any trades?!?!? Very nice looking brooksi, looking forward to hearing from you.

By the way are you going to Daytona this year?
