breeding problem

hello
Ok have a problem I got two boas as a rescue both were female(not) now the female is about 6 1/2 feet and the other which is a male as of this morning is 5 feet, I found them locked together this morning,I have took the male out. What would the chance be of her becoming pragnet they have only breed one time. I don't wont her breed the male is skiny but healthy but the female is a little sick. thank you kate

it only takes once I'm sorry, I couldn't resist saying that If this was the one and only time they ever copulated before he was removed, there is always a "chance" she could become gravid, but I would bet against it. On the other hand, I have talked to people who figuratively whisked a male by the female for a brief moment, and low and behold, babies were made. Most of the time, it takes repeated courting/copulation and even after this, if people remove the males too soon, they can up up with slugs. All you can do is watch her and hope she is not "with-childs".
