If you haven't stopped putting him in the tub, have you changed any of his routines at all?

My Xander started doing that when he got bigger, too. If I didn't tub poop him after taking him out of his cage to hold him, he pooped on me... or on the couch, or the carpet, or whatever happened to be available.

Iguanas don't like to poop in their cages. After talking to some iggy buddies about the problem, we decided that he had just been waiting to get out of his cage to poop. Instead of training him to poop in the tub, we had accidentally trained him that when he came out of his cage, it was pooping time (since the majority of the time we took him out, we took him straight to the tub). It was frustrating at first, because he would do this even if he had pooped in the tub earlier in the day.

We solved the problem by pooping him in the tub before holding him. If he's running on empty, he won't be able to produce anything for a few hours... and when he does, it will most likely just be urine... and I have gotten peed on when he's in a particularly obnoxious mood, so watch out!

Good luck.
