Anyone in the SE looking?

herpdoc133 Feb 15, 2005 10:16 PM

I use to live in Florida. Have been relocated to Texas for the past 5 years. This use to be a great time to hit the field and look for herps from Ridgeland S.C. to Homestead Florida. I've had several years of outstanding finds this time of year. I haven't seen any posts regarding the SE. Is it the lack of field herpers, or has urban sprawl taken that much of a toll.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Has Tommy Crutchfield left the building? "Life is what you miss while your busy making plans" -'John Lennon'

It ain't bad in TX, either (weather-dependent).

I think a lot of people aren't in on the fact that this is a good time of year for doing such things as flipping artificial cover etc. Road cruising hasn't been as productive for me until the nights get warmer, though.

Then again, LOTS of people are posting on other sites. Kingsnake ain't the only game in town.

I thought it was more along the lines of, "Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans?"
