You have to be more specific, like what type of female?
Hypo, normal, argentine, and so on.
What type of boa you have will determine breeding weight.

Sorry, just a normal BCI female.
It would be just like asking if there is a minimum weight for humans to breed at. Some will breed at 95 pounds and some will breed at 200 pounds, it is more age related then weight, however a healthy full look to a snake is also a must.
I know some breeders that will not breed until their boa is 10 pounds, but what if your boas is a Crawl Cay or some other dwarf form of Boa, it may never reach 10 pounds, on the other hand breeding a 10 pound Suri might seem small to many. You can power feed a boa to an extreme pin headed size and breed her in 2 years, but your boa will never be healthy and right. I hold all my females until there 3 year (which makes them breed at 3.5 years old) unless they have had some sort of health issue that may have placed them into a slow growth pattern for a few months then they weight until their fourth year to breed. I have never had a 7 boa litter, the smallest litter I have ever had was 19 with 4 slugs. Please don’t be in a rush to breed your females, if your concern is morphs then you can always breed the males at 18months of age to get your head start.
Good Luck
