Are you sure she's "green?"

bluerosy Feb 16, 2005 08:34 AM

That is an '04. They get green as they grow.

Hey Rainer, I meant no disrespect by the post... the snake just didn't look like any of the "greens" I've seen before, so that's y I asked...

sorry if you took my inquiry in the wrong way.

That band count looks really low...
Yes it does look low.

Here is the momma green:

To be completely honest I had never heard of a green brooksi but from what ive seen and heard rainer knows his brooksi. He sold that snake to me, now you have seen her mom. I truely hope you will not hate my snake for being green, i happen to believe Rainer, I sent money and for everyones sake we will all watch that snake grow up.Let me know when your ready for more jade.
thanks

it's showing a lot of green, IMO

bluerosy Feb 17, 2005 09:12 AM

that green het hypo you have came from a breeding with the green het hypo female you see pictured and a light colored hypo(no red). The offspring from that breeding I sent you was the most unusual of the clutch with the prominent bands and greenish tint. How it will turn out is anyones guess. I also remember the snake was a great feeder from the start and seemed to relish its meals and devour them quicker and with more gusto than the rest of its siblings. It will be interesting to see what it turns out like in a year.

Hey "Geckorex" you do have a nice snake there... the snake does show green but not like any "green" i've seen, so i'm sorry if you thought i was "bashing" your snake

Rainer is a good guy... he knows his brooksi. i got a nice brooksi pair from him, and hope to add a few more of his stock to my breeding plans this season.

keep us posted on her...
