What would be considered the best first uroplatus? Also if you could give some of the care requirements that would be helpful, or give a link to a good care sheet site.
Thanks

Hi there,
The best (and only) beginner Uroplatus would be U. Henkeli. They are a largish species and quite hardy being able to tolerate a broader range of humidities and temperatures than all of the other Uroplatus. Here is a link to a great Henkeli site that also has some for sale.

What other herps have you kept?
Justin
Im pretty much just starting into herps and I don't think that I'd be ready to keep Uroplatus because from what I'm reading their harder than what I'm used to. Anyways I've kept White's tree frogs, Green Anoles, Garter Snake and Leopard Geckos and I've decided that I'm going to get a Uromastyx. So I guess I was just looking for future reference when I'm a little more experienced.
Thanks though
-Eric-
