I have Kane heat mats, but I use them under my Visions. They are very well made and are intended for a wide range of livestock applications. I wouldn't have any problem putting one inside of an enclosure. You MUST use a rheostat though as even with mine 3-4 inches below the Visions, the floor gets very warm.
