Turtle and lunch

el_toro Feb 16, 2005 01:04 PM

Yep, another picture.

Turtle and Tank have pinworms. Ick. Had a fecal check done shortly after I adopted them that came up clean - I'm sure they were infested, but it didn't show in the check. So now they have a heavy load of pinworms and are living on towels in a bare tank for a while. Whee! I guess that's a reminder to folks (including me) to do periodic fecal checks, as things can be missed.

Anyway, they're both apparently feeling great and running around like maniacs since I bumped the cage temps up a bit while they're on meds. Basking temps are nearly 130F. I might leave it that way after, since they both have great color and are very active.

Here's Turtle standing in today's breakfast.
