i kno beardies require plenty of lighting and heating. i also noticed that there are 50watt bulbs that reach up to 100watt bulbs. is it recommended to have a higher wattage bulb or is there a specific reason u would neccessarily need a higher watt bulb? i just got my beardie and not that im concerned, im just curious to how much a price they add to the electric bill having to bulbs running for an avg. 12-14 hour period a day. anyone have a clue?

The wattage of bulb you use depends on the temps you are getting. Any bulb is ok so long as you get the basking temps to 105 - 110. Also, it does hardly anything to you bill at all as it costs nothing to power a bulb

A few 50 or 100 watt bulbs are nothing...but I had a tank with 3 250 watt heat bulbs, and when I stopped running them my electric bill was cut in half
