im startin to get real frustrated with my guyana. first meal he took fine. it was a small rat fresh killed. i then feed him again he took it and few days later threw it up. 2weeks later i try feedin him a rat pup live. he will not take it. all he does is sit there and hiss. i even tried killin a pup and leavin it in his cage over night. he just will not eat. please help.

do you have somewhere he can hide? I've had similar problems with my snakes and if they can hide in something secure (not too big) with just their head popping out they'll sometimes show more interest in food. Also - try feeding at night when he may be more awake/aggressive. if this doesn't work, see if you can get your hands on a chick. supposedly dipping rats in chicken broth could work too but i've never personally tried it. good luck.

Sounds like you might be rushing it. If it isn't hungry just give it time. It regurged on you anyways so giving it more time is optimal.
