JPShadow how's this sound?

I went to a pet store and bought some loose substrate today. It is commercially made, but sounds like great stuff. It is ground very fine. The contents are virgin organic soil, peat moss, green tree moss, some orchid bark (not much, though), fine grain sand, and vermiculite. Sounds like everything but the kitchen sink. Does that sound good? Hope it works out. I put about four bags in and it came to four or five inches. What do you think?

It doesn't really matter what I think. It matters more what your monitor thinks.

I and I am sure others have went through many types of substrate before finding the one they like and the monitors like and use.

I say give it a try and see how your monitor does with it. See if it holds moisture, burrow, etc. and take it from there.
