I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want you to have reaction, like you had! lol. But yea, pretty sure Gypsy is not an agama agama, or common red-head. Now that everybody is guessing I'll say what I thought from the beginning. I'm pretty sure she's a Kalahari spiny agama. And I don't know anything about them so I don't know if she's a she or a he or if she changes colors or how big she will get or anything. But you've got a unique little friend there that isn't too common. Where did you get her?
Mike

.....looking at the agama pictures that Eve provided, I'm not sure now. The pattern on the back looks right on the lower photo. Hmmmmmm.....

And a very cute one at that, so just love her!

I would like to thank you all for posting your ideas on what kind of Agama you think Gypsy might be.
I have to agree with Mike that the lower pic that Eve posted does resemble Gypsy quite a bit.
I have researched all the Agama species that you all have named off, and more, trying to figure this out. lol
All I know is that she is a sweetie and we love her right to pieces!!
This past week I have noticed that Gypsys chest area is turning this Orange Color...Pretty cool!! And she has been showing that blue-ish green color on top of her head and on her cheeks more often lately....Does that give you guys any more clues? heh
She also has a black patch about the size of a dime under her chin. Sometimes its larger and darker than others.
Yea yea, ok I know I have been buggin bout this, but I would really like to know what species she is! LOL
Anyhow, thanks again everyone!! Until next time...
Take Care, ~§çhîZm§gr£~
