we just bought a cool little spurred tortoise and were not to sure of her age. shes about 5 1/2 inches long does anyone know how to determine the age .

It all depends on what it was fed and how much. Unless the previous owner can tell you the age, you will probably never know. It could be anywhere between 1 and 5 years.
