i have seen some pretty nice gtp enclosures. I was wondering how do you take a pvc pipe and make it look like a natural branch. i have heard using a blow torch to manipulate it.
any direction towards info would be appreciated!

just take a cheapo propane soldering torch. when lit you will see two flames.. one inside the other. take the inside flame and touch the very tip to the pvc - this will both burn/color it and melt it (if held long enough depending on size/type of pvc) and you can twist it. If you live where its snowing, twist and hold then put in a snow bank. if it doesnt, have your garden hose turned on and run the water down the inside of the pipe. then when you're all done take a scotchbrite pad and some dawn (any grease cutting soap) and scrub the outside to get all the "charcoalled" pvc off the outside.
