Hey recently i switched my gecko to mealworms as a staple and he adapted fine and seemed to be putting on some weight, and about 2-3 weeks ago i switched substrate to paper towels, and he was confused at first but then i noticed he stopped eating as much. I had the mealworms in a shallow dish and they escaped very easily and i just blamed his eating less on the fact that the mealworms were escaping, and did my best to make sure he always had some in the dish. But about a week and a half ago i bought a new dish thing and its pretty tall and not see through or anything. the mealworms do a lot better job of staying in this one, but i havent seen my leo eat out of it or anything and im worried that he doesnt know thats where his food is and i dont want him to starve. if anyone has any suggestions on training him to this new dish or any other suggestions or tips i would be very grateful.
