building a vivarium, looking for a drip system splitter

KINGofLIZARDS Feb 16, 2005 09:51 PM

on the black jungle website there is a walkthrough on how to build a natural looking background with water trickles. I am having issues finding a splitter like the one they use and was wondering if anyone has seen one like it. If not any suggestions on a substitute. also I am looking on an inexpensive misting system for a 44 gallon pentagon tank.

Thanks,
Seth

They are using a splitter from a drip irrigation system. You can usually find these at well-stocked garden centers (ie. ones that sell irrigation supplies), or I have even seen them for sale at Home Depot. They used to carry Toro Irrigation supplies, but I don't know what they sell anymore. I live in Chicago, and no-one has lawn irrigation, so the city stores don't stock it. You might also try Tractor Supply or Farm and Fleet.
