do whites tree frogs shed?

i was just looking at my WTF and noticed gooy stuff on him.is he sheding or is somthing wrong with him?

Sure! My WTFs will look like their skin is loose and baggy, and then it'll detach and form a whitish layer. That's when they start compressing their belly, opening their mouth really widely, and swallowing it. Yum!

When I first saw this behavior I freaked out, cause they look like they're dying when they do it, hehe.
