New leuk babies

slaytonp Jul 07, 2003 01:53 PM

Here are a couple of my new leukomelas froglets pigging out in the nursery tank. They are little lens-lice--not the least bit shy.

Cute little froglets! Did you just get the 2, or are there more for a grater chance of a breeding colony? I'm really thinking hard about whether I need/want another species soon or whether I should just stick with what I have and wait until I have some good breeding success with these.

I hear some Brazilian cobalts calling my name, but the leucs are just so cute!

I have four of them, but they are so busy hopping all over they refused to line up for a family portrait. I've had them for less than a week and they are already taking over the number one entertainment spot, and they have some entrenched competition with the imitators and galacs for being the most entertaining. No shyness with these fellows. When you look at them closely, they hop up close to see if you might have any edible bugs on your lips.

They will eventually go from their nursery into the 72 gallon bow tank.
