How do you guys get your turtles to eat greens? Mine won't touch them. He's got live plants in the tank AND I drop stuff in occasionally but I have to take it out so it doesn't dirty the tank. Let me know.

If your turtle`s really young, he just may not be interested yet (but keep trying). What are you giving him? Try to cut up/slice pieces of things like carrots into sizes he can easily eat.

i have anachris in my litte gals tub .. she didnt know what it was at first and wouldnt touch it .. so i took some and chopped it up to about the same size as her pellets ... she im assuming tasted some and now knows its an okay thing to eat ...

i have also had to do this with carrot, dandilion greens, guppies and crickets .. she didint know that they were something she could eat at first but once they were in her food dish with her and she tasted them now shes willing to take nibbles

Dont get me wrong she isnt the veggie eating queen but she does occationally get gummblies in her tummblies between meals and go for a green treat *lol*

i think she has more fun playing with her plants then eating them though *LOL*
