which UVB?

can someone plz recommend me a UVB light that i might wanna buy? heading out tommorrow to purchase one.

If you are just going to a pet store your best bet is probably going to be a flurescent tube. Zoo-med and Repti-sun make good bulbs, the 5.0's or 10.0 are probably the best.

if you can wait a few days for delivery big apple herp was selling the zoo med repti-sun 10.0 tubes for $19.99. thats a good price. mine arrived yesterday.

is there a difference between the fluorescent bulb and clamp bulb? thnx for the RE btw.

Most clamp bulbs you can buy at petstores, the ones that run under 10$ are just heat bulbs, they give of UVA but no UVB, so dont let the packaging claiming they have UV rays fool you into thinking its the right bulb. Generally, if you are buying from a petstore and it costs less than 20$, its not a UVB bulb
