I went to the link and all I could find was round tubing.

Do you want a connector for round tubing or square tubing?

I have seen 90 degree angle connectors for square tubing.

I have some couplings that might fit, but I don't know if the ID on the tube is the same as the OD on the coupler fittings.

Have you bought any of this square tubing?

Which wall thickness did you get?

harlanm Feb 19, 2005 10:35 AM

i havent bought any yet, but what i plan to buy is 2"OD with .078" wall thickness, im getting it from us plastics. do you have just a few couplings laying around or do you sell them and have access to a lot. ill probably need quite a few as i will be making racks for some other people as well. i have called at least 20 plastic manufacturers and cant seem to have any luck.

are all square pvc tubes measured by OD? im thinking if the fittings are measured in OD and the tubing is as well thats not going to work out too well. unless all square tubing comes in the same thickness. it doesnt seem to come in schedule 40 or 80 like the round pipe does so maybe the square tube has the same wall thickness relating to the diameter.
square pvc link (hopefully it wont take you to the homepage)

The tube looks cool.

I have access to a 1" connector for square tubing, but I don't know where you would get a 2" connector.

harlanm Feb 19, 2005 12:32 PM

maybe i could make due with the 1" tubing... where do you get that connectors?
