Oregon Red (Orange) sided garter

I found this little guy near Monmouth, OR in January. He was very thin and confused looking, so he got dragged home and fed. Happily, he readily takes f/t mouse pinks. He's really really hyper, and this is the best pic I have gotten of him so far. He seems to enjoy swimming in his dish and doing laps around his cage. His body is really blurry in the pic, but he has perfect blaze orange rectangles that go down the length of his body. His name is Pumpkinhead. I'm really tempted to go out and find him a girlfriend this spring.
