Help with my Leos

Biscuit71 Jul 07, 2003 02:47 PM

Hi, I am a new poster, and was hoping someone here could help me identify what color morphs my Leos are. I got them about 6 months ago, and didnt have the foresight to ask what they are. I have a pair, and if maybe someone that is into the breeding aspect of it could maybe give me an idea as to what the pair might produce as far as offspring... any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

normals het. for patternless. which just means they would look like their mom but when they were bred to the father they would have some patternless babies and some normal het. patternless and some normals. hope this helps

i ment if the babies were bred together thats what they would make. if they were bred to their father they would get what everyone else said.

Hi.

I believe the first one is a nice looking normal. Some would call it a high-yellow.

I believe the second one is a leucistic AKA patternless. Possibly a patternless albino, but I doubt that someone would have sold you a PA without a) telling you, and b) charging you a lot of $$ for it.

If you breed them, you will get nice looking normal leos that are het for patternless. Breed the kiddies back to their patternless parent in a year or so, and you'll get your first generation of patternless babies.

If I'm wrong, please feel free to correct me.

The male is a patternless and the female is a normal. When bred together they will produce all normal looking offspring that are het. for patternless. Incubate their offspring for female and when the offspring are old enough, you can breed them back to their father and get some patternless babies.

Hello,
