Very nice! Looks like a gecko adventure playground!

While it does look aesthetically appeasing its functionality does not score highly. Firt off, the height of the cage doesn't matter, but isn't a necessary as leos are terrestrial. I can almost gaurantee you will never see them climbing that branch (unless you place them there). Secondly, that substrate looks like a recipe for impaction. It's ultimately your choice, they might be fine on it, or you could feed them in a seperate container, but why even take the chance? Thirdly, the hides are nice, but for just a couple of leos it is too big of an environment. Food items will be lost and your gecko will take longer to become comfortable with his or her surroundings.
Believe me, I know it is tempting and fun to create a habitat like that. Cage design is one of the most fascinating parts of this hobby, but ultimately your animal's well-being has to be the number one priority, and with a cage like that I don't think it was. Your leos would probably (key word probably) do better in a simple paper towel, water bowl, multiple hide setup. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just hope that your interests are in order here.

I disagree with idea that leos will never climb the branch. My leo is an avid climber of the tree and branches I have in my setup.

Maybe she is unique in that, but nevertheless they should keep the branch in there until they're sure their leo isn't using it at all.

I agree with changing the substrate just cause so many people have lost leos due to impaction from eating substrate like that.

OK, one, i'm really sick of hearing about this nonsense. I am an educated and somewhat experienced keeper, and have made a conscious and EDUCATED decision about my environments. This tank was and will continue to be very well thought out. Sam, if you bothered to look at my sig, you will see I currently have 6 female leos, so i'm not sure why you think there will only be a couple in this monster. As for the climbing factor, leos are by nature predators and many predators have a strong instinct to seek higher vantage points with which to view the hunting grounds. Also, I already have a 25 gal setup with one of these shelves in it, and it's actually rare that I find a leo on the ground floor. They used to fight over the one hide on the shelf, so I added another. Please be assured that the health and happiness of my pets is of utmost concern.
