Finally got my azureus... here they are a question

froghog Feb 17, 2005 11:34 PM

Here is my sexed azureus pair that i got from patrick nabors at saurian.net... if anyone wants darts they should go to him... i've never dealt with someone so kind and helpful before... that being said... they are beautiful and have definately started an addiction here on my end... anyway... i just wanted to know if this was normal and ok... for the first 2 nights the male and the female stayed in their coconut hut together but tonight the male decided to go and settle down for the night in a nook on a piece of wood with some plants overhanging it... do they often sleep separate from one another? it just seemed like for the first couple of days they were inseparable... but now he's gone and isolated himself... lol... maybe they are having marital problems... hopefully this is not a sign that they will not breed.. anyway... thanks for all the help and enjoy the pics!-paul

The frogs look great! I have delt with Patrick numerous times and never had a complaint. What your frogs are doing is fine with one not always sleeping with the other. I'd be expecting eggs too in about 2-6 months, maybe sooner if your lucky!

Thanks for sharing this. Most of my darts have come from Patrick, he gives lots of personal help, and I've never had any complaints on my end! Enjoy your beautiful pair of azureus.
