From reading through this forum, I realize that I have been over-feeding my turtles, who are now about 1 year old, and giving in to all that begging. I am just hoping that I have not caused them any permanent harm. Now, I am trying to feed more veggies and less protein/fewer pellets. They're not happy about the enforced diet, but am trying to stick with it and give greens when they beg and splash. So far, okay.
