Who can give me some information about breeding with ctenosaura palearis?
What environment do they live, and what humidity etc.
Thanks

They are from Honduras, and I believe they live in a few select valleys of tropical rain forest. There are very few that are breeding this magnificient lizard. The only book on spiny iguanas is Schwartz Leguane ? by Gunther Kohler - it is written in German, but has some interesting pictures and charts. Supposedly someone is translating this book to English. One could always scan and translate key pages with german to english sofware. Mark M. is probably the most experienced U.S. Ctenosaura breeder. His web site is: http://www.westcoastiguana.com/

Good luck

I acquired a young pair completely by accident not too long ago. I've enjoyed keeping them since they are very active and entertaining to watch. If they are so inclined I wouldn't mind hatching a clutch of these little gems.

thanks for the information. You indeed do not see them a lot, that's why I'd like to have hatchlings from mine. I'll check the site, to see for some more information about these lizards.

Btw how does your tank has been decorated? Do you have a picture of it?

thanks
